Sisterhood

Had fun making this layout with hand drawn flowers etc. I actually quite like the colours and all the 'white' space.

Dad's Hat!

Love these pictures of Dad's hat!! Taken at his 70th Birthday party.

Oostburg

I'm a bit behind getting these layouts done. This was one of Oostburg, Holland. A really nice little village close to Brugge. We spent a couple hours there when Brian, Dad and Diane came to visit.

Paris

Paris in the spring...who could ask for anything more?

Chilling

I love this layout and this picture of Lionel and Cathy. We were all taking a break after visiting Arundel Castle in Sussex. I painted the picture frame, ribbon slider and letter to match the layout and I really like how it turned out.

Roots

Lionel and Cathy's visit was definitely one of finding our 'roots'. This is a picture of Cathy out front of the house in East London that her grandparents had lived in many years ago before emmigrating to Canada. The house is located right across the street from Victoria Park, a very lovely area.

Rulles page 1

We found several tombstones of the Cornet family which really made our trip worthwile. Lionel and I were very emotional about finding and visiting the birthplace of Grandpa Cornet. It was lovely. We had a lot of help from a local man who did much research on the family tree for us and met us for drinks the night we stayed there.

Rulles

This is the second page of a 2 page Layout of our trip to Rulles with Lionel and Cathy. It was rather comical arriving in town and trying to communicate with non-english speaking locals!

The Rockies

I love this layout now that it's complete. I think the colours are great. There is hidden journaling under the picture. I spent a fair amount of time re-colouring the flowers, that I hand cut from papers to match the layout but well worth the effort I think.

Ethereal

I love this picture that Jess took of Brent while we were at Dads in December. I just had to scrap it! I had to ink the flowers black and paint the chipboard journalling block. I also chalked the upper half of the page with white to give it a 'floggy' look. I'm doing more and more experimenting all the time and having a great time doing it.

Toby

A friend of mine's dog had to be put to sleep on Monday so I did this layout and gave it to her as a keepsake. There is hidden journalling behind the name with a very nice poem.

New LOs

It's been awhile since I uploaded any of the layouts I've done....so it's now time for a catch up!
